Though it seems like DLC, it is still a good game

User Rating: 8 | Batman: Arkham Origins X360

Arkham Origins is a great game, but it looks and plays like its predecessors.

What I liked about the game

+A great story- This game's story is on par with Arkham City's. It has enough twists and great moments to give it one of the best stories of this year

+The characters' personalities- This game's characters are well written, funny, and interesting. They even gave an obscure character from the 90's a role that is funny and well delivered.

+Combat- The combat in this game is just as good as it was in Arkham City. There is a new rating system too, which shows you how good you did.

+Easter Eggs- Though it does not have as many as Arkham City, the game still has some Easter eggs that will get the attention of comic book nerds like myself

+Challenge Maps- The challenge maps are fun to play, and if you are obsessed with them, there is a lot for you here.

+Joker's new voice actor- Troy Baker does a great job as Joker, and you can barely tell that it is not Mark Hamill

What I didn't like about the game:

-Combat- Even though the combat is good, this game does not change anything like Arkham City did

-Graphics- I am not a big graphics freak, but this game look exactly like Arkham City, so it feels like you are playing DLC to Arkham City

-Multiplayer- Although it is ambitious, the multiplayer is uninteresting and nobody is ever on.

Other small complaints that don't affect the game, and are personal problems

-Deathstroke underused

-Can tell Batman's voice actor is different

Overall, Arkham origins is a good game. Even though it plays and feels like Arkham City, there are enough good things about the game to separate it from its predecessor and make it an enjoyable experience.
