Ricardo Torres met up with Kevin Conroy, the voice of Batman at Comic-Con 2011!
It makes me feel good to see Conroy's gratefulness, humility, and appreciation. He seems like such a stand-up gentleman.
20 years later and his voice is still golden! The day Kevin stops playing the voice of Batman will be a sad day indeed. However, it doesn't look like that day is coming anytime soon.
I wish Conroy had worn Batman's cowl for the first minute or so of this interview... All would have been right with the world.
Am I the only loser who realized the batman truck in the back go by?? Haha His voice is the perfect man of bats
Good thing that it is difficult for aging to affect one's voice. :D And no, as much as I like Kevin Conroy and his voice-over for animated Batman, I for one would not consider him to be the "best ever" and reject everyone else who tries to voice Batman. That's the classical trap of nostalgia, and I know that he can't be around to voice Batman forever. .
Gelugon_baat This is a good point. Nostalgia to the point of stagnation actually handicaps a character. For me, however, his voice is the voice of Batman.
Kevin Conroy is the best and most AWESOME Batman.
The one and only Batman, sorry Bale.
ahhh feels so wired 'in a good way' not looking at the screen i hear Batman lol
All hail Kevin Conroy!
He's been doing this for a long, long time. So long that I wonder if he ever gets confused and the lines of reality get blurred. I mean, do you think he ever wakes up in the middle of the night thinking that he's Batman?
Dude is a legend!
he is legend
Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill are always the voices I hear when I read a Batman comic... theyre the best I've ever seen portray them... but you know its still funny to listen to Batman talk about how much he trusts and respects the Joker :P
Conroy is the man, Bruce Greenwood is excellent as Batman, but Conroy will alays be number one.
Batman the Animated series was awesome, I used to watch after school when I was a kid.
Badass!!
wow what a fitting, amazing guy to play batman
It's just a pleasure to seriously watch this man. I am so happy he is in love with the character and he truly appreciates the fans of the character and the game as well. He is such an amazing humble, down to earth person.
Conroy rocks!
Love Mr. Conroy. He's indispensable to the Batman franchise. I love his humbleness, graciousness, and down-to-earth attitude.
Batman the animated series is what got me into the batman comic books. Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill will always be a part of my childhood.
Kevin Conroy is Vengeance, he is the night, and forever will be Batman.
Kevin Conroy, I applaud you
That guy...coolest person in the world, wish I could meet him in person, so many questions to ask, like "do you and Mark ever wrestle, to see who would actually win?"
Now the face behind the voice.......interesting development.
Christian bale sucks, Conroy doesn't lay batman, he is batman :')
Kevin conroy is batman.
Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill are both very....very...VERY dear people who have made my childhood worth living.
Interesting, first time for me to see him. I quickly imagined how he would do in a real Batman movie...with him being the actor, not just the voice lol!
he's one of the two person who can bring batman to life.the other one of course Christian bale
Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill, in my opinion, will forever be the best Batman & Joker of all time.
God bless Kevin Conroy (best voice actor of all the Batman series). :)
