Check out more than 10 minutes of gameplay video from Batman: Arkham City featuring the Catwoman, Two-Face, Riddler, and of course, Batman.
First I though that Batman Arkham City is an amazing game like the first one but now after seeing the incredible open world of Arkham City I'm sure that this one will be game of the year! It's very obvious that this game will be among the best games in history of games, I'll add it to my collection of the best(MGS4, Demon's Souls. LBP2 and Dead Space2)
Cool.but i dont how get this is gonna be on WiiU.Catwoman kinda brings the game down a bit but the graphics boost it up.but i dont the game to be cheesy and funny, i want it serios ,violent, and amazing.who agrees??
@eddieham13 oh well i dint get AA so i was gona buy this coz it looked cool i may just buy AA now its gota be real cheap
cannot wait for this game to come out. batman arkham asylum was amazing. im getting a boner already and might blow early on the first dat without getting my pants off!!!!!!!!!!!
So I guess the riddle becomes this: Can Arkham City be considered a sequel? Because I tell you that if it is - game developers need to pay attention, as it masterfully shows you how to make a sequel that adds to its predecessor and improves on it. After 12 minutes of footage this looks nothing short of amazing. Long live The Big Black Bat...
Looks great...with the exception of Catwoman. Im not a sexist, female protagonists are bad to the bone, but Catwomans tongue is a platform for some of the WORST jokes I'v ever heard.
I do not like the fighting system in this game, it is to much like AC which is also a bad fighting system. It makes the game to damn easy. Was really hoping for a switch from that system oh well, ill probably still get it. As for the guy who said Arkham Asylum had a good script what were you listening to? All super hero scripts suck, but then again who plays em for the talking? On top of that the ending of that game last boss fight and all was terrible.
Anyone else remember from a long time ago when some Gamespot writers said that Arkham City will probably not be open-world? Seems pretty open-world to me :P
The one thing I LOVED about the Batman Arkham Asylum fighting system was that if you learned to DO IT RIGHT..... you NEVER got hit. NEVER!
Ha wow move over Crystal Dynamics new Lara Croft very sexy Cat-women is here.. As the new Lara Croft drops from the top ten sexyest women in video games Crystal Dynamics takes away the sexy in Lara Croft cat-women moves in. In sexy.
This game looks great & the gameplay is even better. I like the option to play as Catwoman for a bit as long as the core of the game is Batman.
P.S. I love how serious Batman is... catwoman (nose the uppercase and lowercase in the names... yeah... on purpose) is quite annoying with her dumb ass punchlines and childlike humor. I tried hard, but could not find a single reason to laugh at any of her jokes. :-(
Okay, so ummm... how the hell did two face's arms go from hanging to being tied behind his back on the way up from batman pulling him up.Games looks like it will be awesome, but they need to fix dumb **** like that before the release in order to not get laughed at. I want it to be realistic, no silliness.
@jnw93 Then you have missed out on some very interesting information on the warden if you didn't do any of them on AA.
oww this game appears to be so perfect!! I want it!! I finished the BAA in all difficulties and now i can't wait to play this awesome game!!
Look, people, I can admit that the visuals and the atmosphere are impeccably rendered, but I still have one huge problem with this demo: the dialogue was HORRENDOUS. Think about it -- corny legal jokes and kitty puns? Really? I'm sorry, but kitty puns just don't belong in Batman. At least Arkham Asylum had a decent script; this is just embarassing.
That's what you call epicness, but i agree with nkhacduy let's hope WB won't forget the awesomesauce in this awesomesauce sandwich
