A DLC episode for Arkham City that should not go amiss, and you know why? Because it's amazing. This review will feature SPOILERS that relate to the end of Batman: Arkham City. I suggest you not read unless you know it all :)

Harley Quinns Revenge is exactly what it says on the tin. Rocksteady has created an "episode" that continues the story for Arkham City and is set after the end of the game. Harley Quinn has taken over the Steel Mill and is in Mourning after the recent death of her beloved Joker. Quinn takes main spotlight here which is a nice refreshing look at her as in AA, she had a minor side roll and in Arkham City she was barely there at all. It's nice to see that Rocksteady took the time to incorporate some form of story for her specifically.

The actual narrative of the game is incredibly compelling, starting with Robin who we did see in the main games campaign but did not get to play as. Here we get full control of Robin and all his gadgets, it's unfortunate that he is not out-with the corridor filled Steel Mill, it would've been nice to get a free roam option for Robin, like there is for Catwoman in the main games story DLC. We are told that Batman has been missing for a few days and Oracle has sent Robin in to check it all out. Robin finds Batmans utility belt and then we switch to Batmans story that shows how he got captured. There isn't much new here that we haven't seen before. All enemies are the same but have a change of outfitting (to change with Harleys mood) and obviously Robin has his own set of gadgets but with Robin you only get to play as him for a very short period of this story.

The story itself is only about an hour and a half in length and doesn't offer much in terms of actual story closure as it almost leaves you with more questions than answers. With a lackluster final boss battle and a minute long ending cut scene it doesn't seem worth the price and has almost no replay value, I would not go as far as to say it was a "disappointment" because it was almost everything I wanted from a DLC package to Arkham City, but in future I would to see more incorporated to the rest of the city and hopefully some more closure to the rest of the side missions that were in Arkham City, Harley Quinns Revenge has almost no references to the main game and no Easter eggs which is a huge disappointment as it's what makes exploring interesting but none-the-less, it's a great addition to the game and you should definitely try to download it. (Maybe in a sale which then will have the price is so rightly deserves)
