Not as good as the original but still a solid sequel.
Great voice acting. Good sound effects that feel recycled from the first game. Good soundtrack.
Good quality graphics overall. Characters look good and have a more original style then they did in the first game. Environments have a ton of variety as well. The biggest flaw of this game is in the visuals department - There is lag from time to time, Noticeable drops in frame rate when in certain areas, and the occasional glitch.
The same great yet simple gameplay from the first game. It features a few new things added, Such as the ability to counter items thrown at you. Simple things like that but it makes all the difference while playing.
Good lengthy campaign. Story never really picks up and ends disapointingly. Plenty of brand new Riddler Challenges to solve. Rewards from Riddler Challenges are lacking. A ton of new Riddler's Revenge maps as well that provide a few more hours of gameplay and truly test your skills. Catwoman is a terrible character. Catwoman's campaign is short and has very little impact/significane to the main story plot. Most of the boss battles are over in as little as one punch. Boss battles don't have the creativity that the previous game did. Plenty of side missions to play in the game that introduce plenty of new characters for future games in the series.
I view this game more like a filler game, It's only real use is to set up the future of the franchise. Arkham City is an enjoyable game but it's no where near as good as Arkham Asylum.
