If you thought Arkham Asylum was the best, then you haven't played this game.
The story is after Arkham Asylum and the former warden of the asylum is now the mayor of Gotham city and uses his powers to turn half of the city into a prison. The person manipulating him is Hugo Strange who is the new warden and arrests Bruce Wanye because he knows that he is Batman. Batman then suites up to fight Two Face to save Catwoman. Batman is then captured by the joker and has some of the Joker's blood inside of him because he is dying from the TITAN he injected himself with in the last game and tells Batman to go to Mr. Freeze to get the cure because he has been captured by the Penguin. After beating Penguin and Solomon Grundy he is instructed by Mr. Freeze to get blood from Raze Al Ghul to finish the cure. After Batman gets the blood Mr. Freeze turns on him and he breaks one of the two vials that have and you have an awesome boss fight with him where they find out that Joker steals the cure and after you see the Joker is perfectly healthy the Joker and Batman fight Talia Al Ghul takes the Joker to the Lazarus Pit and then Batman is saved by Catwoman and goes to stop Hugo Strange from killing all of the Inmates in Arkham City and then after reaching the top of the tower Strange is in Raze Al Ghul stabs Strange in the back saying that he failed him and with his dying breath Hugo Strange blows up the tower with Batman barely making it out alive while Raze Al Ghul kills himself while falling. Batman then goes to save Talia from the Joker and after making to the movie theater Talia stabs Joker in the back and is then shot in the back by another Joker who looks bad because he never took the cure since Talia stole it from Harley Quinn off screen and it turns out the Joker Talia stabbed was Clay Face and Batman then uses Raze Al Ghul's sword to beat Clay Face and then drinks the cure so then the Joker stabs Batman in the shoulder to try and get the cure from him, but Batman drops it and it breaks so then the Joker dies and Batman carries him to the outside of the prison and puts his body on one of the police cars and leaves without saying a word.
This is my favorite game for my ps3 and one of the best games I have ever played. Batman controls a lot like the Assassins Creed and Metroid games only with Batman in it. I can't think of many complaints for this game except that you can't play as Robin in the main story. Buy it if you see it anywhere.
