Batman: Arkham City Retrospective Review

User Rating: 10 | Batman: Arkham City PS3

In anticipation of the upcoming game Batman: Arkham Knight, which as of writing this will be about two weeks away from launch date, June 23, 2015. I have decided to do a retrospective review of one of my favorite games of all time Batman: Arkham City. Besides the fact that this game allowed me to play as my favorite character, Batman, it had a tremendous amount of content that really flushed out the game in a way that made it feel much more grand than its predecessor, Batman: Arkham Asylum.

The main part of this game that will attract any fan of Batman is the fact that you get to fight against all of the iconic Batman villains and scores of lesser known villains that only the hardcore fans of Batman will know. This may seem like a con of the game, having villains in it that the player may not know, but it is actually one of the greatest parts of the game. The game being filled to the brim with villains to encounter and discover allows the player to play a complete Batman experience.

Since this is a relatively old game and this is a retrospective review I will keep it short and sweet. If you have any intentions of playing Batman: Arkham Knight then you must check out this game. It is the best of the three Batman games released in the past couple of years and it is in my opinion a must play.

The final verdict for Batman: Arkham City is a - 10/10 Essential.

Thank You,

Alex
