So far I have went to many sites and read many reviews. All of which claim there is a problem with textures on Wii U and with frame rate being low and jumpy. I took a chance and purchased Batman for Wii U despite these negative reviews and I am so happy I did! I have been playing this game for about 2 hours now and so far I have not noticed any of the issues review sites are complaining about. I can only wonder if they intentionally gave the Wii U version a bad review. So far the frame rates have been fast and silky smooth. The graphics have been top notch and the use of the Wii U tablet controller is really good. All in all I must say that I am glad I went ahead and purchased this game for the Wii U console as it surpasses the XBOX, and PS3 version on all fronts. I currently own a PS3 so I am not just another Nintendo fan boy with a biased opinion. I played it on PS3 and I am enjoying the Wii U version much better.
I currently have the Zombie U deluxe bundle edition (32 gig). It came with Wii U Pro Game pad, charging dock for tablet, Zombie U, and Nintendo Land for 398.99. I also have a 120 gig external hard drive hooked up to my Wii U so I don't have to worry about space.
Now with all this being said I must also acknowledge a few things that could contribute to the negative reviews......
1. This game was a release title and since then Nintendo has released a few updates to their console that might have addressed the issues some reviewers claim to have had at launch.
2. I never had to update my console because the Zombie U bundle deluxe version came with the current system update and was release just this week. So I already had the latest update when I was playing Batman.
3. If you go to Nintendo store and have a 8gig system you can't even purchase the game because the 8 gig does not have enough free space.. They require a 8 gig Wii U to have a external hard drive hooked up to console cause the download is 20 gig.
4. Perhaps the Wii U 8 gig suffers the problems and the 32 gig version does not. Reason for this would be most games require a certain amount of hard drive space to use as cache memory while playing and the 8 gig version might not have enough resulting in the issues I never experienced with my 32 gig version....
Either way, don't listen to the reviews and buy this game like I did and you won't be disappointing at all!
@mumrahh1 doesn't really seem worth the purchase if I bought it for another console or PC already... and for those who haven't, the new additions/abilities are just slapped on and don't really help create a better experience. There's no reason to buy this edition when the 360/PS3/PC versions are already floating around at $20.
