I'm glad they didn't just follow the Dark Knight and they created their own story. Usually if you follow the plot of a movie it doesn't work out right because the expectations of the player are at the level of the quality of the movie. We all know how hyped up the Dark Knight was and the game would be able to live up to the hype because of the lack of action in the movies. =)

I'm kinda glad they are going with the old Batman and Joker theme. Don't get me wrong I love the new movies but this era or Batman is where it really started to take hold and capture peoples attention. Like others are saying, it looks good and I pick it up if they deliver well with it and for some reason it reminds me of the Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay. (I think its the camera angels in the trailer)

Looks dark,it has the Joker and Arkham Asylum what can go wrong with that setup.Base on the quick editing of this teaser it kind of looks like a Resident Evil 4 gameplay,which is a smart choice for the Batman Universe.Let hope they did not rush it...

Just occurred to me tonight... With all the talent from The Animated Series pitching in for this game, there's one piece that - though not entirely involved in TAS itself - was always a part of those cartoons: the music of Danny Elfman. Considering that some of his work from the first Batman film was also present in the recent Lego: Batman videogame, it wouldn't be entirely surprising for it to appear in Arkham Asylum as well. But what I'd be even more hopeful for would be his direct involvement in composing an original score for the game. I can't imagine anyone would object.

i agree with deft one. His armor in that movie is cool. Also it would be cool if they used like the light and the heavy armor like in the movies. What a scary place man. Looks like Bioshock.

Graphics look good..... hope it has a long gameplay and makes use of Six Axis control for swinging batman frm one place to another

they should use the dark knight movie dressings

the batman games that are already out were not great. To childish (batman lego) or just bad. I hope this game will change the series dramaticly, the trailer sure is a teaser.

Fantasy 'FPS'?? I dunno but already it seems like it may have a similair style to Bioshock, not like itsa bad ting but its my predictation atm.

to manitoakid: Robin is a great charatcer and no reaosn to dis a batman game just cause robins in it... just because his ourfit is a lil geh as some would say, dose not make him any less of a badass the preview looks inteteresting i wonder if the entire game will take place in arkham? i would be ok with that, chances are this is a huge building to explore, and if it's in lockdown, or whatever could be a cool aerea to explore, but whatever...

As long as there's no Robin, It's a for sure buy.

I really hope this game encapsuletes the truly gothic and realistic side of the Batman franchise, in a similar way BB and TDK did for cinema, too long have gamer batman fans had to put up with mediocre story lines censored for the kiddies and god forbid, lego bricks....as fun as lego Batman may be it really is a disservice to the legend of the bat, almost a return to the corny campness of Adam West or George clooney. I know its onmly a 45 sec glimpse and a few still shots but from what we have it looks freakin' awesome!

This game looks awesome. It allows you to focus on elements of stealth as well as 'run out and beat everyone up' to keep more in character with batman. Let's hope it does well!!

Even as a superhero game this one looks pretty exiting to watch out for.

Games like batman,superman...will not be cool as u see movie or cartoon but this seems interesting..

heemmm its only a 45 sec video, and you cant really tell if its a fast peaced, or if it has great gameplay :S its only a trailer and trailers are supposed to catch you till the game comes out. And it only shows a couple of images, i dont know where did you see the GAMEPLAY here (vido4eva, aTRUEplaya) haha maybe you got a lot of imagination. thats good. Any way, batman rules, hope they can finally make a good batman game after all this years of failures.
