Dungeon crawler lovers rejoice!

User Rating: 8 | Baroque PS2
It seems the old vintage PS2 has got me yearned for Baroque. It is better than it seems whenever you first play it, how you die is a complex system as well, the leveling system, the monster are superb, but the effects and character looks remind me a lot of Final Fantasy. However, I still think, in my opinion, it would not hurt you to try and/or play it for a long time, before you reach a decision. The game itself has an unstable plot, seeing it can go a number of ways depending on what you do, the dialogue is pretty funny, hearing quotes like, "Throw something at me!" from The Collector kid, and, if you've played the training dungeon, you should know this one, "VT is your Vitality, when it runs out your god**** Health goes down, so watch your Vitality, god****it...", a quote from the Coffin Guy, a "swears like a sailor" person, who makes practice dungeons for you to train in. However, we don't know the main character, a.k.a the protagonist, enough to get a storyline, we don't even know his name, which I find to be an essential element in the game. In my opinion, this game deserves my 8.0, but you should rent it first.
