Banjo-Kazooie is an awesome game in everyway. The gameplay is top-notch, the graphics are amazing, and the music is clever and catchy. I can't think of one reason not to recommend it.

Clearly Banjo-Kazooie owes its very existence to Super Mario 64, but I believe it takes what it borrows and improves upon it...much like Diddy Kong Racing did with the Mario Kart 64 formula. The characters are endearing, the story is humorous and cutesy, and its replay value is untouched by its contemporaries.

Banjo and Kazooie have tons of moves at their disposal. They start off with many moves at the start of the game. Over the course of the game, they learn even more moves that take great advantage of the controller. All of their movements are tight. No complaints here.

The graphics are a step up from the over-geometrical worlds of Super Mario 64. Banjo and Kazooie animate well and the environments are cheery and colorful with nice detail for its time. On the XBOX 360, the textures benefit from the HD upgrade nicely, and the framerate is improved. Everything looks sharper.

This game features some of the coolest music that changes with the environment. Each track changes according to the areas of the level where the character goes. It is everso catchy.
