The World Needs this Game.

In a gaming culture dominated by FPS's, MMORPGers??!?! (WOW) and highly commercialized stick wielding sports games, i feel that Banjo Kazooie N&B is a daring move by Rare, and a move I feel more software developers should do before the gaming industry becomes stagnated by the same copy and paste games. But anyway, about Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts (BJNB)

Gameplay- Rather than go down the traditional route of your standard Banjo Kazooie RPG, Rare have literally thrown the book out the window and down something completely different, which at first is weird and scary, but you soon come to love it.
You now get to create your own vehicle from scratch or from the games helpful blueprints, in order to complete the tasks to get jiggies. As you progress through the game you get more vehicle parts to "pimp your ride" as well as to turn it into an automated killing machine!
The missions themselves, are generally racing/ beet the timer affairs on land air or sea, with occasional variation such as transporting, pushing, guarding, attacking, lifting, performing stunts etc. Some people may find this can get repetitive; however theirs so much exploring and creativity in the game, most people will find themselves looking for vehicle parts and wasting hours creating their ideal vehicles.

Sound: As always Rare deliver a good score, bringing in the sounds and music from previous banjo games, as well as previous sound effects, to deliver a blast from the past for Banjo fans from the N64 era (such as myself). Basically, Sound= Faultless.

Graphics- The levels are beautifully designed with lots of detail and imagination, so you know Rare's gone to town on this one. Its good to see the classic N64 characters in updated graphical detail. My biggest problem with the graphics though is the texts boxes. Unless you have a HD TV you can barely read them, I was tearing my hair out trying to read a 4 digit code for a trap door in the game, and after 30mins I had to guess it. Apparently theirs a patch to fix this, no good for me though as I don't have live,. Basically if you don't have live or a HDTV your doomed to eyestrain trying to decode what Banjos saying.

Difficulty- Well I can't remember their ever being an easy Rare game, and this is no different. If you want all the Jiggies you have to get the TT Trophies, which means constantly going back to do challenges again and again. It's probably easier though to go back once you have all the cool items, as it makes it a lot easier. If 4 words were to summarize the games difficulty they would be: TRIAL-ERROR-TRIAL-SUCCESS!!!

Storyline- this I don't like. It feels like Rare ran out of ideas, and just came up with any old story line for the sake of it., which IMO ruins the game, For some reason the character LOG sends our heroes on some guest, possibly for his own sexual and personal pleasure, in order to beat Grunty. There are so many different storylines Rare could have used, but they use this one…why?!??! The best way to deal with this I found was to come up with my own storyline and fantasy land, and apply it to the game. (Not crazy).

In Summary, BJNB is innovative and solid game, and although there are some flaws, I feel it's a worthy part of the Banjo Kazooie Universe.
