Great fun! think Virtua fighter, only round
It is basically your generic fighting game but comical and cute and sometimes downright evil. This of course stems from how you play it and what character you choose.
The characters i remember (not by name) are:
- a gorrila who could roll in any direction to avoid being hit, he had some overhead throw move that used his back legs to grab and pull behind him then throw over his head. He could also swing around the screen to get behind the oponent or just go round and round and round :)
- Kronk! who was the games selling character. He was a short caveman type who had a bat and could use it quite brilliantly. He could also spit which was one of the games few ranged attacks.
- Bobo/coco the clown, i forget what his name was. Anyway, he had this long punches like Dalsim from SF2 and he could fall down to avoid being hit and he could flop over and just avoid any damage at all. He was also very annoying. 1 move i remember was that he could explode himself which was like some AOE but of course, costed a little health.
- there was some ballerina girl who had a kiss, which was ranged. She had this ballerina twirl that moved her across and around the screen. I think maybe some long range kicks to.
- A sumo wrestler was available, but i remember little about him.
There were more characters but i remember very few of them in truth. The game was very very difficult, it was a little crazy to move around and it was a little annoying to pull of some of the moves like you would have to roll the keypad back and forth followed by a button or 2 and rarely did they work so it was more of a random game i felt. Or maybe that was just my skill level.
Either way it was fun but not great.
