Too good for Gameboy!

User Rating: 10 | Ecks vs. Sever II: Ballistic GBA
This is one of those games where you don't know what you're going to get. It could be like the first one or worse than it... but this time it’s actually better than the original Ecks vs. Sever.

------- Graphics. They are the fundamental of video games. I admit it; it is pretty pixel-like when you go up close to things. From a distance it is really good though. I would actually say it has above average graphics for its time, and for its system. If they made a third one, it would be very superior. In this it is a first person shooter, so it obviously has that camera angle. That’s good, the angle won't ruin this game, like it has ruined many other video games. ----

The music has a nice catch to it. Of course, because this is on a Game Boy Advance, it is simple spy music consisting of many beeps. I would never compare the music to any console, but it is rather nice for the primitive system it is on. ------

I was somewhat disappointed when it came to multi player, it has the coolest things to do in multi player and it is so much fun, but this multi player needs to be multi-Pak (both people need cartridges) and none of my friends have this game, so I rarely get to use the adrenaline pumping multi player. It has pretty good replay value because the missions are pretty fun (like the one where you just have to shoot the guys, find the hostage, and then shoot more guys to get out safely). And since they are on a level code system, you don't have to go back and do those missions that make your hair fall out. (like the one where you have to find the thermo-nuclear bomb before the clock runs out) When the question rent vs. buy comes to play, i would buy. Because either being Agent Ecks (Antonio Benderas) or Agent Sever (Lucy Liu) there is a total of over 20 missions!!! ---

renting would be ok if you wanted to test run it before you buy it, but it is too much fun too rent it and try to fly through it in 3 days. Truly, this game is one of the greats. Especially with such a colorful arsenal of firearms. This is one of the top First person shooters for the Game Boy Advance.
