Great game, but after playing Shadows of Amn, you may be a little disappointed

I an a HUGE BG2 fan... I mean i played the crap out of that game, but this part of the story just disappointed me a little bit.

With the story, I was expecting a big bang ending with a surprise that I would never get over and have to tell all my friends about and then feel like a huge dork as I often do, but it didn't deliver. The game wasn't bad, but it could have had so much more in it, as was proved by Shadows of Amn. The combat style was still the same and it required the same amount of strategy, though there were a few new things, but all in all it went unchanged. When dealing with BG2 unchanged is not a bad thing by the way.

I don't want to make this too long but the game is great, really, but it didn't quite live up to its older brother, which is understandable because that game was a flippin' masterpiece. If you liked BG2 though, I would still buy it because it does complete the story, and hopefully it will give you shock and awe more then it gave me.
