There is so much to say about BGII, and so little time to say it in. It is the best RPG of all time, hands down, no questions asked. It is old, and does have some bugs, but it is pure unadulterated fun. This game's story is its strongest point. The story is dark, deep, and richly detailed. The characters are life-like in their emotions and personalities, the villains are some of the most evil and despicable you will ever see. There are hundreds of side quests, and each has its own unique story. The combat is fun, and can be challenging. There are tons of disrtractions, many small easter eggs, and, well, frankly, just a lot to do. My only complaint is that the programming could have been better (it had its fair share of bugs) but the gameplay far outweighed those. Boiware outdid themselves on this game, and nothing they have done has measured up to this. Plainly and simply, by my opinion, the best game of all time. The only downside is that Bioware never made another game in this series.
