An amazing game! The only thing that holds it down is the inability to make your own characters.

Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance is simply an amazing game. You start off choosing your character (there is no ability to make your own :() and you have just got to Baldur's Gate when you are knocked out by some thieves who steal all your possesions. Two guards spot this and chase them away and tell you how lucky you are you weren't killed. With a bit of persuasion you manage to get them to tell you of a pub where someone might help you get your revenge...

For a reasonably old game the graphics for this are superb and the sounds are great too with real speaking dialogue as opposed to just some writing.

The gameplay is brilliant though. It is not like the Baldur's Gate series for the PC it is more first person and the cooperative mode is excellent. You play collecting money and magical items like swords and spells and leveling up your character.

This has excellent replay value and I have completed this game with every character on every difficulty and several times on cooperative.

I thoroughly recommend this game to anyone who likes RPGs, Baldur's Gate games or Dungeons and Dragons.
