At first Dark Alliance II seems amazing, then it starts to set in. By the tenth or eleventh stage of slashing the goblin-like creature; you start to wonder why you even wanted to play the game at all. The graphics aren’t the best, but they try to vary it with the generic fire, water and ice stages. The character types are also way to generic for an RPG and have no extra storyline that really runs deep. The real storyline isn’t too great, and is way to predictable. Anyone who enjoys a mindless game of hack and slashing should consider renting this game for a week or two, but it certainly isn’t worth buying, at any price.
