Backyard Hockey is a good game for kids and offers a nice challenge for older audience at hard difficulty setting.

Fun for kids, but fun for adults too! At hard difficulty you have a real challenge! You can configure the game with many settings, like penalties and players' fatigue. You can knock down your opponent on the ice and do rock-paper-scissor battles. The power-ups are nice and funny too! My favorites are the puck going under the ice for a while and the freezing touch. You can also create your own player and boost them as you advance in a season. The scoreboard contains nice details such as penalties and small animations when you score, etc. Unfortunately, I haven't tried the multi-player option because you need two cards for that. Seems nice though. You can play two classic mini-games: air hockey and a shoot-out. The air hockey is a 2D graphics using both screen.
