After playing Madden for years, I wanted something different, well here it is!

User Rating: 7 | Backbreaker PS3
GAMEPLAY: 7.5/10
The gameplay is very unique. You are simply one man, and you play your position. On offense, you can be the QB and throw passes, or be a RB and run the ball. Defense is quite cool too, taking down the QB is so much fun. Euthopia (or Whatever) plays a big roll in the game, as players tend to fly like ragdolls for hits. I was laughing a fair bit when playing. However, the game does have problems. One is the horrid camera. Many games have had this issue, like Little Big Planet's multiplayer. This one is very bad too. When QB, you can't see anything because people are blocking your view, and the camera is so bad you end up losing the ball after the third down. Also, the passing is very inconsistent. Still, I found the game fun and innovative, and I wanted to play more to see what would happen next.

GRAPHICS: 9.5/10
The graphics are easily better than Madden and look more realistic.

STORY: N/A
There isn't exactly a story in here.

SOUND: 6.5/10
The audio is alright, I do like the music on the kickoffs, but just like Madden's, nothing special here.

CONTROLS: 6.5/10
I had a fair bit of controls issues.

REPLAY VALUE: 6.0/10
If you love this game, you'll be never playing Madden again. There isn't much replay value, its just another sports game.

Backbreaker is a good football game. Although, with its poor camera and inconsistant passing, I don't know how much more I'll be playing it.
