Great foundation for a hopefully ongoing series...

I admit this game has its problems, I want more out of it. When an actual play is unfolding though I think its fantastic, but this game might be better suited for gamers who actually play football this game gives you the sense that you are a part of something bigger. You get the feel that you are a part of a team not the one that has to do everything. The smallest accomplishments give you a sense of strong accomplishment just by executing your assignment. reading your blocks is more effective here, although some defenders can break through.. like real life. My first game I was under 90 yards total, big learning curve to properly execute will probably scare off a lot of gamers. I wish game had fatigue, more in depth player ratings, injuries, better penalizing system (Ive gotten so many roughing the kicker flags). But like I said groundwork is laid tackle alley is awesome, playing QB is intense you have to make decisions on the fly. I always had something against how QB'n in madden feels like superman sometimes.. I had 100% passing wid jamarcus russell.. So if youre up for a challenging football with admittedly a few steps from being amazing try backbreaker
