Might be fun for actual breakdancers, but most people won't remember this game after a while.

When I first saw the concept of B-Boy, I thought the game would be awesome. However, when I bought it, it was very disappointing.

I wanted it to be fun, so I did end up putting a lot of time in it, but the gameplay just doesn't cut it. You'll find yourself repeating the same routine in almost every battle, just because there aren't that much moves. By the time you do have a nice arsenal of moves, you'll be sick and tired of just having to put in certain button combinations to execute the moves. So in short, the entire game is a buttonbasher, rather than a dancing game. The entire gamescreen is just a distraction, but since you keep using the same commands, thus the same moves, you'll get tired of that too.

The music is good though, the soundtrack really kicks in. Which adds to the disappointment when you start playing the game. Because if you see the opening sequence, it all seems so amazing, but once you start playing, you'll wish you had spent your money on something else. The other tracks are pretty common in the whole B-Boy scene, so they really fit in the game. But you have to unlock most tracks by playing the game, and the gameplay doesn't make you want to do that. The graphics don't really add anything to the game too, they're just average.

So in the end, it may be a nice game for actual breakdancers, recognizing the moves and stuff, but for the average gamer, it will just bore him/her. The game has absolutely nothing to offer you, so in my opinion, it wouldn't even be worth a rental.
