A worthy Bust-A-Groove revival?

User Rating: 7 | Audition Online PC
The first thing about Audition that caught my eye is the similar game play which was present from the prestigious Bust-A-Groove series.

Knowing just about how rare B-a-G titles are today, I took immediate interest and downloaded the game.

The Presentation is great. I had a feeling that I was gonna bust some kind of groove just like the old days, or become immersed by the outstanding game play.
But disappointment was was the first reaction I got from Audition. Character creation is really bland and you only start off with a very, very limited choice of clothes, making you look like any other newb out there, and the dance moves made me gag.

But let's look past that.

PROS
-Game play really pulls you in and is something you won't find in a long time
-Graphics are decent and the different rooms are colorful
-Lag won't screw you over which is always great
-Visual effects (U.I) are nice to look at.

CONS
-Game play can be repetitive and other modes aren't original or memorable
-Songlist is the most part, horrible.
-The dance moves are just... ugly to look at. Obviously, the choreographers aren't paid enough for this game.
-Doesn't live up to Bust-A-Groove's brilliant standards.

Overall, Audition Online is a good dance game. However, if you're looking for the next Bust-A-Groove, or just a game that will make you want to move, then it's only worth a look.

Sound:6
"Songlist is the most part, horrible." The only sound effects you'll hear is the U.I. buttons and expressions. No dancer S.E.

Gameplay:6
Great, but is repetitive

Lasting Value:8
Though game play is okay, this game is addicting.
