I am making this topic in hopes that it will show Techmo Koei how this whole fiasco has affected people's decision to buy the game. I will submit this to TK EU's Twitter regardless of results in 3 days. If you think I should submit sooner/later or have an alternative idea of how I should submit this, please comment.
Personally, I am in the "Undecided but I would like Dual Audio" camp. I will wait for news of say who the English dub cast is before making my decision, but I am definitely less hyped about this game than I used to be.

Yes, I will not buy the game if it doesn't have Japanese audio.

Where is the: "Yes, but I won't buy it even if they bring Dual Audio back because they should have removed the English dub instead." option?
Jan 16, 2013 8:38 am GMT
Most certainly yes. I don't play these kind of moeblob games with english voices. How is that even a question? I'm not usually one for nerdrage, but in this case I'll gladly see the flames burn. Things were finally looking good this year and I understood they're getting dual audio for Ken's Rage 2 too. So what gives?

So you mean to say they're confident in releasing a game with manly hulking killers beating the sh*t out of everything with japanese voices, but not a cutesy stereotype moe girl fest catering 100% to weea... I mean fans of the subgenre? Makes sense not.

Not even buying it (price drop or not) Only way is dual audio. Without LE is bad but not as much as the dual audio.

Like the majority of the people, I'm not touching this game if dual audio isn't in it even if there is a price drop in the future. KT isn't getting my money for alienating the established fanbase.

Because I would like to submit a poll that doesn't show how immature fanbases can be. If we don't have Dual Audio, then one side won't get what they want, whether Japanese is cut or English is cut, then there will be a segment of the fanbase will be unhappy and neither side deserves that.
If this is to be a counter to "No, I'm fine with English Audio" then know that option was meant to either correspond to liking English Dubs
or voice overs aren't important to them in deciding to buy the game.

That's completely nonsensical.
I voted for the 'No' option. 'Fans' will gripe about anything. There was a time not long ago when games with copious amounts of text had
no voices. In fact, there are still that don't. Thus, to me, it's a complete nonissue.

That's why I picked the "I'm fine with the English" option because the only language I can read is Eng and I rarely sit through the voices no matter what language track is playing.
Read text, hit next, rinse repeat. Just like how I used to back in the day.

Onimusha HD trilogy, make it happen Capcom.

No, I never use Japanese audio anyway, so it wouldn't affect me anyway

Holy crap, I thought this was a joke. Imagine my horror to find that it is true. Well, I am definitely passing on a purchase now. It would be one thing in the game was FULLY dubbed, and another if that dub was actually great (Atelier dubs have always seemed mediocre to me), but only a partial portion of the entire thing will be voiced. I expect crap like this from Ignition. IGNITION! GAH!

Tecmo Koei is being cheap and saving money.
Why shouldn't we do the same?

It was getting localized BEFORE TK interfered with their stupidity. Why should we pay MORE for LESS when NISA would've made everyone happy for a reasonable price?

In what way are we paying more? Look, I'm not defending taking out Japanese audio, but completely not buying the game doesn't make sense to me. There's a hell of a lot more to the game than the voice acting. I just don't understand the need for the Japanese audio. Is it because you're afraid the English will be awful or because you want to play the game "how it's meant to be" or something like that?

would you watch a great movie mute? or a great movie that has terrible dub? or do you just watch part of the great movie and skip what the plot is? Is kinda the same for video game.
