Fresh Perspective, Good Classic Fun in a comic book 3D title

To frank, I didn't know if I should play the game when I first observed the title. But to my pleasant surprise, It was good fun. Very playable.
Think of it as its a kingdom hearts kinda RPG on the PSP. Easily likable game.

First off, Asterix and Obelix usually has good titles, well depicted in animations. So the Opening FMV kicked off to quite a surprise.

The controls are quite simple, 3 attack buttons, interaction buttons, camera angles and movement can be set to the D PAD or Analog stick. Some may experience the pain of having to toggle movement with the camera angles.

Basically, the game allows you to toggle between Asterix and Obelix, reason being you need these 2 to solve the various puzzles and obstacles in the game. Asterix being able to squeeze through smaller walls, fit into smaller carriages while Obelix needs to fully utilise his weight and strength to particular situations.

The game isn't an absolute walkover when it comes to difficulty. The fights usually has move combinations, meaning, characters can get an additional boost if they input certain move combinations.

In the game, you move from area to area, and the setting is very much comic book style. Well, I shant burst the bubble any further. Its worth the play & time.
