While it is more of the same, there are enough minor changes and content to satisfy fans of the original.

Unfortunately for this game, the original was better and what's new here does more to hamper the game than improve it.

Assault Heroes takes a stride forward in level design and length, but it's way too dark and a few levels pinch the fun.
