Ubisoft's best game since Prince of Persia

User Rating: 9 | Assassin's Creed X360
I'm a few years late but I finally got to play Assassin's Creed. Altair's the name, killing is his game. He is so committed to his brotherhood that he had his left ring finger cut off to obtain the hidden blade. From the intro movie to the actual gameplay, this Assassin is no joke. Only thing is that Altair has to prove himself once again to the Brotherhood after he's been stripped of his high rank just for doing things his own way. A little repetitive as you talk to people in the Bureaus of towns like Acre, Jerusalem, and Damascus and you pickpocket, interrogate and do other investigations in order to kill your next victim but it's very rewarding. My only complaint is that Altair is the only person with no accent and everyone else in those towns have accents but it's not big deal. As you gain your ranks back, you retrieve some of your weapons like the hidden blade, a sword, throwing knives and daggers. One of the coolest things in Assassin's Creed is being able to climb buildings and towers and even taking leaps of faith and falling into haystacks. that's fun right there. Of course you need to climb those towers to be able to synchronize thus finding new things like where your next investigations will be, clearing up a map, etc. This Assassin will be mentioned a lot in future Assassin's Creed titles as he was probably the real deal according to his future grandchildren that he will bear in the years to come (in Assassin's Creed II)
