"Hashshashin" an arab word used to describe a form of "covert operative" the Nizari branch of some Shia islamists, known as the Isma'ilis used to carry out assassinations and other acts of insurgency having a political goal.

This guys are the pioneers of what we call now "terrorism" although they didn't killed in such a crude manner, or seldom killed anyone else who was their target, they used terror against their enemies which were very often political leaders. And with some high-profile killings they were able to subdue even the mightiest of kings, all these was done spilling the minimum amount of blood.

This game is what you would call an "alternate history game" since 98% of the characters in such games really existed and were the people this game claims to be (well of course not all of them were templars) but that doesn't suggest that this game is short of being a masterpiece.

The plot is flawless, the voice acting is exquisite (the actors made a great job of portraying their characters) the graphics are among the best on this console. But what, in my opinion makes this game a true jewel, is the portrayal of the landscape and middle age cities. They are they were in those times that are far from being forgotten.

There are also some plot twists that will make you even more interested in the story, and if you got a knack for investigation, there is certainly plenty to be done in the game and off the game (once you finish it you'll know what I mean)

The only shortcoming is that it may be a little repetitive after a while, that is if you don't like exploring the cities and other parts of the game world, but even if it seems to be repetitive there are things to be done even after the story is finished, truly they are not as exciting as hunting for your target, but nevertheless should add something to your gamerscore.

The combat mechanics may seem a bit complex at first, but after some time playing, they will seem natural, also the learning curve is quite short so you are not going to waste time learning complex moves or other things that may bore hardcore action fans.

All in all this game is a must-have for everyone that calls his/herself "gamer" trust me you won't be disappointed and will have all your money's worth.
