I am currently on memory block 4 and I am seriously pissed off by the game. The setting is really good and all but I hate the story.

AC1 didn't suck (though, that's your opinion
). I like AC2 and ACB better, but AC1 was fun enough for me to go through it twice, and get all the achievements on my second playthrough.
I really wish that in AC2 that you could get Altair's Short Blade along with his personal Sword. That last Short Blade you get in AC1 just looks so epic.

What's wrong with the plot? You haven't even gotten to the the ending which is the main part that'll make or break some people's opinion of the story. I personally was absolutely blown away by what they did there.
Also, if you hate the climbing, you should just stop playing this or any further installment of the game. That's one of the staples that the series is built on.

I just beat it in a week and I seriously might go thru it again before I move on to 2... this game definitely does not suck.

I've tried to play through this game but what kills it for me is the "current time" guy you control every once in awhile with the doctors. It's just so damn tedious. I want be play the game, not play some loser.

so i played about 6 hours of AC2 and was realllly diggin it but im the type of person who likes to see the complete story. sooo im on the 4th act of AC1 now and man does it get super repetitive. save the citizens, find the view points, pickpocket, interogate, assassination. it was fun the first few times but for every section no thanks. im not even trying to find all the flags thats a joke. the best part of the game though, and the reason im still playing is i really like the main assassinations. feels good finally sneaking around and taking out these "bad" guys. the story is crazy and all over the place as well at least in 2 its way easier to follow.

The main flaw is its repetition, but play through to the end and its a great story to go through. I played AC 3 times, second time for achievements and 3rd time to get the conversationalist
