I just got AC3 about 4 days ago but I had not played brotherhood and revelations yet so I am now trying to quickly run through so I'm up to date storywise. Problem is I'm actually enjoying both these games, with brotherhood it was an overall great improvement and I loved playing in Rome. The ending was pretty mind blowing too I have a love/hate relationship with it because they took away something I wish was still there but in the end it was good for moving the plot in a different direction I guess. Actually after I finished brotherhood I quickly blasted through ac1 because I never got to finish it and I have to say I was very impressed with the story and the voice acting.

Now I'm trying to go through revelations as quick as I can but being the completionist that I am, I'm trying also to do most of the side quest's. I was disappointed with the intro which I thought was unneeded but after arriving in byzantine I'm really enjoying the story and the new additions in the game. I really can't wait though to get my hands on ac3 though, I'm hearing really good things about it and I hope in the end that Desmond gets to be the hero and save the world.

Anyone played ac3 yet and want to add their 2 cents? I know I should just ask in the ac3 board but I think the people that visit the revelations board might be more open minded.

I happened to like Revelations more than some people seem around here, especially for the story and the Altair sections.

    Some Revelations pointers:
Get a tax collector early. Once you get to liberating Templar areas your chance of running across one diminishes rapidly. (Needed for a trophy.)

You only ever have to do one Den Defense (as part of the plot). Don't use the cannon in defending the den (nets you a trophy). You can avoid being forced into a Den Defense by strictly limiting your notoriety. Training up masters and assigning them to the Constantinople dens will be enough to meet the Assassin Guild Challenge regarding Den Defense.

    AC3:

This starts v-e-r-y slowly and the world doesn't really start to open up until sequence 6. Menus, displays and controls have changed (not always for the better). Many more glitches (even with an opening day patch) than you have experienced in the earlier games.

Talk to Benjamin Franklin (a few times) when you first get to Boston. Talk to the other people at the inn. (There is a special 'conversation' marker for them.)

And don't even think about starting to collect things or running side missions until you are in sequence 5, even if you notice objects or markers on the map.

We're having a great time: food, wine, a little personal abuse, and the universe going foom.

    Haha will do!!
Yep I have only done the one den defence so far full noteriety is no problem when there's plenty of heralds around. I'm pretty much almost finished revelations I think, well sequence 8 is called 'an end of a era' so yeah...can't wait!!!! I'm so excited thinking about finally getting to play ac3 usually I don't buy games at release and wait for the prices to come down but ac3 seemed unusually cheap at $69 aus dollars and it's one game I definitely don't mind paying top dollar for.

Thanks for the heads up BTW!
