How ,or should I say when can I craft bombs?

I am currently at Sequence 3 and while I have ingredients to make at least one bomb,I can't seem to interact with the crafting table,so ,is there a specific quest that I have to do so I can craft bombs or does it just become available later in the game?

The mission where the main turkish assassin dude who's name escapes me tells you to visit peiri reis i believe is the mission that unlocks the ability.
