2 Like Why people compare this franchise with CoD? Just because it will have a new title every year? Some people need to get the facts straight here. Ok, it is a cash cow indeed, as with EVERY other sequel out there. CoD is a repetitive dumb mess, while AC tries something new with every sequel.
The best AC game is AC 2 n AC brotherhood. Looks like AC3,ACR r just flank n it's looks like this is going to b a flunk game its gonna b a boring lame repetitive game

@WTFOutlaw agreed though naval missions being the best part of AC3 makes me look forward to this one.
4 Like I loved Assassin's Creed 3, being that I enjoy history it was fun to play through big world events like the Boston Tea Party, etc. I hate how people come onto boards like this and just bash away. All that means is its going to be one more thing for me to enjoy and one less for you. So if you don't approve of the story or don't like it, then simply don't buy it, but please stop being so negative towards something that has just had the debut trailer released. It's sad really.
1 Like I sincerely hope that the combat is not absolute garbage like in AC3. At the very LEAST, go back to the Brotherhood/Revelations system, cause those blinking attack banners in 3 were really annoying

@gufberg agreed. I'm guessing the story will be a paper thin one. Definitely will be reading reviews FIRST, after that AC3 nonsense.
so..ubisoft seems to be just farting out these games at this point?..and what's more surprising is that people are actually really enjoying this murky whiff of Pirate clam?!..I dunno..I want this clam to be juuust right..not rushed :p
1 Like Altair is by far my favorite assassin of the franchise, but i have to say that Edward looks like he might be just as great. I'm definitely excited about this game.
2 Like I got my hopes up for AC3 and got disappointed, as for this game, I'm more excited about the pirates than anything but if it was up to me, I'd have Rockstar make a pirate game not Ubisoft.

They had an opportunity to work with the developers to make the whales you hunt seem real, and the business seem cruel, messy, and barbaric like it really is. It would do more to dissuade whaling industry and gain awareness then getting crybaby about it. Honestly I play games like Skyrim and RDR and I find myself not killing animals because even though they aren't real I feel bad when I launch a fireball at a fox.
