@Kevin-V the flow of your speech didn't feel very welcoming. Too many pauses and them being in the wrong spot made it feel as though you were talking down to the audience. Try watching some travel documentaries and emulate their style.
It's just amazing how videogames can immerse you in settings you could otherwise never experiment!

Don't know enough of American history to discuss the game setting but it is nice to see that some of it is based on true locations just like previous games.
On a side note....Brazil subways are absolutely not like that...why would they mess the part where they could easily check on line? Not so great fact check Ubi.

1 Like Too bad there would be no way that Achilles would be an African American, it was the first thing I immediately faulted the game; because back then he would have been a slave as unfortunate as that is, and even if he some how wasn't there is no way he would possess land such as that.
I also did not appreciate the blatant attack against America, with the rhetoric of Native Americans, African Americans VS. Whites, Really? i been sick of reading and hearing all about that throughout my years of schooling. It pains me to see that games of today are so Anti American, I see the same with the call of duty franchise, It infuriates me because as a service member these people have no idea what war is like... I'm sure the people that had written that game would have loved to see NYC decimated like that by a foreign power, and then to Kill all of the American protagonists at the end, yeah real patriotic.
Assassins Creed 3 would have been way better if it had the same memento from the patriot. They could have used a member of "Rodger's Rangers" (the beginning of the U.S Army Rangers) they had fought during the French-Indian war on the side of the british, they were the first unconventional guerrilla force. It would have been a more acceptable, and more believable root for the main character to follow.
One of the things that I loved about the series of Assassins Creed series was that i felt like i was helping make history as I was playing the game. The other games were so on point with history and events, but AC3 just dropped the ball to conform to the politically correct society that we have, and the blatant Anti American undertones of virtually every title there.

Boddy you had to understand first that every major games that create always containing predictive and subliminal messages. Assassin Creed is a game which heavily influence by the occult and symbolism and its motivation are sometime to send the wrong messages or maybe brainwash the young generation.
If you had play all of the pass Assassin Creed you will always stumble a symbol like pyramid with the eye just like what you see in the back of one usa dollar. If you study and analyst it carefully you will see that the pyramid and the eye had the strong relation with the Egyptian pagan god "Horus and AmenRa".
They will never stop creating such a game i will give you an example. If you watch a movie called "The Knowing" which release on 2009 in one of the seen it shows you there is going to be an oil spill which destyoy powerplant. One year later you will see how BP Oil spill is taking place and 2 years later Japan power plant leak due to the tsunami. If you look closely you can even see the actor looking at the numbers and focus the camera on the 3/11/... here the link if want to see for yourself.

I am a Muslim and what they show is that we all are terrorists ready to bomb ourselves and yet nobody ask them any question.
I do not agree with you that these games are anti American. There are always two sides of a coin so you should also see the other.
I do not know much about the USA freedom war so cant debate on that.
@laxstar89 I'm not too sure about what you said about Achilles. Keep in mind that this was during the late 1700's and slavery was much less prevalent than later years. In addition, Achilles was in the New England colonies where slavery wasn't much of an issue. If anything, he would have probably been an indentured servant. Also, blacks could own land back then and some did. I'm not saying that what you said is impossible, i'm just trying to put my history degree to good use.
@laxstar89 Achilles could've joined the Assassins many decades ago and/or an Assassin could've bought Achilles because he had great potential and buying him was the only way to free him.
3 Like @laxstar89 Anti-Americanism towards the American Revolution is actually quite understandable based on the history. But every action taken back then had a reprehensible quality to it, not just those by America, so for anyone to say anything too positive or negative about America back in the 1700s really doesn't know the rest of world history.
America being the most badass country doesn't make it above criticism, nor does it mean that it's even 1/100th as good as it should be right now.
@downloadthefile I can completely agree with you, I am very disappointed with today's America on many levels. But none the less I do love my country, and I would bleed for the flag to stay red.
I can understand a quantifiable amount of friction against the revolution. America gave birth to plenty of revolutions and regime changes from then to modern times, people follow our example to this day.
I wouldn't necessarily say that America didn't know world history, the founding fathers were some of the best and brightest individuals in the world.

HERE*S AN IDEEA for the next AC I would personally LOVE , I ve noticed that on the UBISoFT team there plenty of my fellow compatriots , (Romanians -UBI Bucharest guys ) YOU could convice the CEO to place the game WHY NOT durring the Vlad Tepes era( AKA VLAD the Impaler ) and so uncover for everyone the reality It would be cool to see How at that point in Time the Romanian provinces kept Europe safe and Sound from the Otoman Invasion( other major Characters would be welcomed as well Mihail The Brave , Stefan The Great etc etc etc ) , and besides It would be something refreshing a part of a verry rich and Blooody , Sad , Remarcable history ,We Romanians have , and that most ppl dont know about and I am quite sure would love to hear somthing of it .Anyway just an Ideea .

3 Like JESUS, the Brazilian dude is a Nationalist. I live in Brazil, and our streets, specially THE FREAKING SUBWAY, are garbage littered if compared to other countries. Ok, it's not like Blade Runner dirty and all fucked up, but it's most definitely isn't clean. Anyone wants a sincere look, watch Anthony Bordain's episode in São Paulo, he went only to traditional places (which in this case means, not so well-taken-care-of areas of the city), but it'll give you a good idea. And it's true my city does looks like "LA threw up on top of New York" (Bordain said that)... My people are so touchy about getting misrepresented, maybe we should stop making every damn movie and international ads focused on the same stupid crap. The world thinks Brazil is only, soccer, big butts, naked women and ultra-violent "favelas"(slums), well it's not, but I don't blame foreigners because that IS the image we have been selling for fucking decades... When someone says California, you don't automatic think of sunny beaches, that's because the state of California knew how to sell it's image, you know what I mean?
@Talisac "We" ? Nope, most of us. São Paulo is diverse. There are places beautiful as any New York street, and places ugly as african slum. There IS NO LITTER in the metroviary system. @Talisac Yeah, Max Payne 3 had a lot of fidelity with our city, but not enough, sadly. I agree with you that our city is neglected, but São Paulo is diverse. Oscar Freire is kinda dirty, but Augusta is dirty only in the "inferninho" side. Its relative. Anyway our city is very rich in "architeture" to Ubisoft explore. I think its because is just a tiny part of the game, I haven't played yet too.
@KorhalKk I disagree with our subway being tidy, HOWEVER, as someone wrote above, the game might indeed have exaggerated the amount of garbage, indeed, it's not as fucked up as the streets above (if you go to Oscar Freire as much as I do, you know how dirty it is, and THAT is an internationally famous shopping area, or so I read somewhere, it`s appalling even the richest area, which is ALSO a tourist "attraction", gets so forgotten by the public administration . I didn't play the game yet, so I wasn`t comparing the game, only the opinion, thus, obviously, language is something irritating if they got it wrong (I dunno if you found one, but GTA IV had some random NPCs talking in a perfect Portuguese, actually cursing me for stealing the car, I was so shcoked to hear it that I actually got beaten down by the NPC as he shouted ?Eita porra! Caralho mano, me d[á essa merda aí!? or something lol), I also heard later that the subway somehow ends directly INTO the stadium in the game? That there are no streets or something? That`s strange, and wrong.
@Talisac @KorhalKk Surey I know everything you mean and agree in terms, but the subway in the game, not only architeture, tidyness, people and language ( what Kevin did comment about ) is not alike anything we have. It bothers me just a little, but its not accurate for a game which relies heavily in such matters. I'll not discuss politics here, I don't believe is the right place to this, but I can repeat over and over again: Our subway is tidy. I don't see ANY garbage in the ground or anything alike. I take 3 to 4 subway lines everyday.
@Talisac you haven't seen the gameplay. I didn't say to Kevin that there's no garbage, I said that in the game there is TOO MUCH gabage. And there's no street, its just subway and straight into the stadium. And at least in Rio the subway is not as trashed as depicted in the game :P
