Check out a sneak peek of Assassin’s Creed III featuring the game’s new hero, Connor, as he hunts his prey through the snowy frontier of Colonial America.
Couldn't agree with you more stan_boyd. As for the rest of you idiots, do your research first so you actually know what you're talking about before you start spouting off.
Ha ha all the haters saying it makes no sense for Ezio to be in the New World, its no Ezio its Connor a new protaganist, the devs said that the previous game was Ezio's last game and that they were gonna introduce a new ancestor in AC3, you guys sound like a bunch of clowns.
@KamaCausey certainly, good point... You'll see, once Ezio is done in US, we'll see him fighting trade federation, on Naboo, next to Obi-Wan... Ubisoft is going to screw this game... badly
@urayanya this is not the 1st time ubisoft screws good games: let's keep silence for a minute for Sam Fisher (RIP) from Splinter Cell... They turned him into a clown. You'll see, it won't take much time, we will see Ezio at a police station, with a machine gun, saying "I'll be back..." ;)
Its WW1... then will it be WW2... then will it be Desmonds turn? It's not like desmond can climb skyscrapers, right?... then he used use that sticky gauntlet that tom cruz used in Mi:4 hehe.
@etchcorp ...Ezio is long dead in this title.
@urayanya I think this will be the conclusion of the main series, aside from the prequels and spin offs. Beyond this point, the history is too modern to have a guy running around with a hood and cape and have it feel realistic.
Well, it certainly looks good, But it seems ubisof is loosing the sense of things, in case of AC... this time is US Civil War... what will be next, Ezio Auditore vs Darth Vader??? They will screw up this game...
@REPNthe10 Really??? Hmm, OK if that's the case then I take it back. Being all mad about the announcement of ANOTHER "long gone assassin", just didn't wanna read much about it. Hope you are right.
wow, you people that are saying this is not going to be and actually have the balls to say"bye assassins creed" like everyone said "bye call of duty" are so d*** ignorant its not even funny ive been playing video games since 1984 and i know a brilliant game when i see it and this definately is one, along with the new call of duty, borderlands 2 ,etc.
Cannot wait for this game. I was slightly disappointed by Revelations - it just didn't stand up to the others. Hopefully AC3 will restore my faith in the series. Also have to say this new engine looks damn impressive.
I don't see how Ubisoft can ignore the historical fact that the Founding Fathers of the US were Masons/Templars... seems like you'll be fighting British the whole time
wish this should be the last a.s set after 16 century, otherwise it will destroy the historic theme of the game.
If this pre-alpha footage is so brilliant and breath taking, maybe we'll all need to pass physicals and sign wavers to watch the "post-alpha, pre-beta" gameplay footage.
The whole take on 15 guys at once style of assassin's creed becomes a lot more unrealistic when 10 of the guys have conventional firearms pointed at the assassin.
Fancy setting it in America....just doesnt feel right! part of the appeal for me was the classical culture of the series the history (real history not a couple of hundred years) this game just sold out for me...bye bye AC (sob)
I'm not American either, but saying America has no "real history" is moronic. And as far as selling out goes, that ship has already sailed for Ubisoft with AC-B and AC-R. Just be thankful they didn't do an Assassin's Creed-Space (like angry birds).
@Hanif_shadow me too, pal. I felt like they were my own family. It's one of the marks of a truly brilliant game that you feel like you ARE the protagonist. I sincerely hope they achieve the same in this game.
conner feels a bit better than ezio. I'll like him, only if they make up a feeling between me and connor. Like, I was nearly crying when templars executed ezio's family.
@Hanif_shadow no game has ever made me cry more than the Metal Gear Solid Series........Ezios family dying just made me angry......you cant compare the two the franchises.... MGS has a deeper storyline
@Hanif_shadow I had some moments when Ezio stopped with the Apple in Revelations and was so curious about what will hapen next. And now when I see this, I can't wait to see how to story will continue!
As a fan of the series I feel right now like a cow being heavily milked. I mean, how many more games until we see what we all have been expecting to actually see? When does Desmond become the Assassin? I'm gonna rent it or buy and then sell it, just for the heck of the story but, damn, I'm just tired already.
I hear you man. We all know that the series is going to end up with modern/futuristic combat. How many sequels until then? Maybe they're just waiting for all the COD smoke to clear, so they're not blamed for being contrived.
@Gadeos You being a "fan of the series" and all, I'm sure you knew that this game is the final game that closes the story of Desmond Miles right? Just saying. Do your research buddy
@Gadeos it's a TEASER my friend :)
Hopefully they don't add that first person mode to this potential beauty. I was a bit sad with that specific part of Revelations (basically it was boring and unnecessary).
