Ubisoft explains why Assassin's Creed III won't feel like the same old adventure.
def getting this.looks class the new character seems cool his background and all.weapons look cool also the time frame seems more interesting.a must buy for this guy.
Ill challenge you on your history. The british rule was not tyranny, so why advertise it as such for the game? Also Indians supported the British as they protected their lands rather than stealing it from the so why are the indians in game pro colonail british?
@Dominicobaggio Yes, the Native American's did support the British during the war, but there were a few of the Mohawks, and other tribes, that did support the Americans, such as Joseph Louis Cook, who could in many ways be the inspiration for Connor. Also you have to remember that Connor is an assassin, and as the man stated, he's taken out of the over all conflict and only sides with the Americans, as far as we can tell for now, because that's probably were most of the assassin's order is. As for the British having a tyrannical rule, what can I say? History is written by the victor. May not always be right, but it's there.
i guess i dont like this part or assassins creed 2nd part is better cus of its story right?........or its just me?
"not a story of the british versus the patriots"...HA! give me a break.....!!! Not all nazis were bad,it's just...some of them actually believed in something,an idea of better tomorrow!
I wish the combat is similar to Arkham city, it is so simple but yet once you get the hang of it, can be devastatingly deep and powerful.
@RuthlessRich: In archery, it's not your dominant hand that determines how you hold the bow, but rather your dominant eye. I, for example, am right handed, but left eye dominant. So I hold the bow in my right hand and draw the arrow with my left, and it looks like it's the same case for Connor.
In the shot of Connor wielding the bow at 1:19 he appears to be left handed, but he uses his other weapons right handed. Curious indeed.
@bizzySGS Yeah, totally can happen a hit or miss... But from what I've read until know and the little I know about Connor I have a very good feeling, probably totally sure, that at least this assassin will be the most bad ass of them all in therms of fighting and personality, if they follow the "cliche" of the guy raised by native americans with all its lore, this character has everything to be the best and the most serious of them all.
@bizzySGS ahaha, good points, sorry for judging you too quickly...though i still think it could be interesting, but maybe im just sad :P
okay i keep seeing boo hoo i dont want to play a game about the US revolution. Ive got a question for everybody outside of an RTS game WHAT F@CKING OTHER GAME IS BASED ON THIS TIME PERIOD OF US HISTORY. guys just give it a rest the plot line makes logical sense and its not going to be about americans agaisnt british but assaisns aganist templars which means that you will be netural during the war. im just tired of people complaning about the setting of this game when its not a bad thing and everyone other AC has been in europe so going to the americas make sense
@ Mawy_Golomb, people wonder why most Americans are uneducated or uninterested in the rest of the world's history because people often make video games about Americans and their history, yeah. Good point.
@effendi360 Dude... Assassin's creed created a new experience on rpg game... Some games are copyed from other games or movies... and have huge sequel... if FF can make 673 games why assassin's creed couldn't make a third to recover the last one? Yes this is what we want us as a gamer because we lose nothing trying it out! O.O
This game looks really polished and great. The dark setting combined with the snow, the trees, and all the historic sites, looking as an outsider to the story, all looks like a winning combination to me. Really looks more thought out and done well than most games I can remember.
I really wish they'd chosen a less famous historical setting. Something like the Islamic kingdom of Granada in Spain would've been awesome.
I think I would also prefer the French Revolution, it's one of my favorite historical events (along with the Napoleonic Era and all), and it was also a prone time for assassination (I could just imagine some mission in wich you would be sent to kill Marat as an female assassin...), but damn, this video made me interested in this setting as well.
Either this game will make or break the series. After all, just as someone pointed out before, there won't be as many interesting kinds of architecture to climb up on and/or interact with than if the game were still set in Europe. Second, why not set it during the French Revolution instead when we have enough games centering themselves on American history? Then people wonder why most Americans are uneducated or uninterested in the rest of the world's history.
Loving the sound of this. The changes have been a long time in coming but sound like they will really revolutionize the series. The whole inclusion of nature and the different setting reminds me of the change of direction Hideo Kojima gave the MGS series with Snake Eater, the same basic game play but made to feel very different with the contrasting game world and the greater depth of interaction with it. The new variety of game play mechanics, especially the idea of having clubs made available based on the every day activities you undertake in front of people reminds me of Red Dead Redemption and will make the world feel even more like a living breathing environment. And I always loved coming across famous people from history in the other AC games, it made it all feel more real, so having a lot of real people occupying the game will be very cool too I think. All in all looking forward to this a lot and it sounds like they have injected just what was needed into the franchise :)
I'm convinced that this game will bring a meaningful, fun evolution of the gameplay. I'm just crossing my fingers that the story is everything we're all hoping for. Particularly with Desmond.
I hope they hire a good voice actor for Connor. I loved Ezzio's english with knda italian accent. Let's hope they will make this one speak with a native-american accent, not just plain old boring american. Plus, bows and arrows! I'm gonna shoot so many knees!
i hope they remake the bomb making system .because i really think there is no problem with me having a bomb that explodes shooting fragments and relishing poison at the same time
Bow & arrows can't wait, hope it will be one hit kill, not like in skyrim dudes runing with the arrow in the head:))
EVERYONE or did someone notice the background music while this man was talking, brothers it was so refreshing.Ubisoft has the power of music to lure us people into these series, yeah really music is an important aspect of these series. And this one has made my mind to buy this epic piece of (i must say)Hardwork.
