The long wait of how the plot unfolds and how the story of Desmond reaches a climax finally paid off. Whether the pay off was positive or negative remains debatable. The starting of the game and the turning points were as appreciable as they were surprising, plus the manner of the merging of the stories of colonial America along with the story of the Templar and Assassins was simply breath taking. Also, getting acquainted with the Red Indian culture was not a bad experience. The things that did cost the game its credit were the lack of variety of its missions and its ending. The missions though very intriguing at the beginning, did seem to lose their cream giving a somewhat boring awe which while playing, almost felt like doing the same thing over and over again. Something that can be very frustrating at times. And if you thought that was the only drawback, the ending of the game felt like over stretching an already stretched spring. The story, already gone so far probably just wasn't enough for the developers as they made us feel that they (the developers) are gonna come up with another sequel in the near future, something which felt very decadent. All in all, not a bad game to play, but how much one enjoys clear depends on how one enjoyed the ending of the game.

As far as I'm concerned, ACIII shoots for the moon but falls flat on its face.

I would prefer to wait 2 years for a good game, rather than have 2 bad games.
