Flawed but enjoyable entry in the Assassin's Creed series.

Assassin's Creed 3 for the Wii U is an entertaining, fun game, however it has glitches galore, these glitches do not ruin the experience they merely take you out of it, characters floating, disappearing, falling through the game landscape, I encountered several glitches. The game at it's core is fun due to a couple of things, I will say, many of the missions aren't all that, some are pretty exciting, and it's the free run system that makes it cool, you're kind of like Spider-Man climbing buildings, jumping all over the place, the freedom of movement is in my opinion the greatest aspect. However, this too is not perfect, often the character would climb onto things I didn't intend to and sometimes in the wilderness it can be tricky to determine which rocky surface the character can cling on to or not, you may notice I said "character", that's because you play as three different characters throughout the game, and the story, well, I won't really comment on it, I only played the first Assassin's Creed game briefly, but it does have some powerful moments still, the graphics do look god for most of the time despite the glitches, I love the platforming, but one thing that did stand out were the outstanding naval battles, these are exciting and tense, and the best missions in the game. There's so much to do in the game, in terms of side missions, hunting, only encountered two bears, at the same time, and the one I think is scripted to show up and attack you. The game ends rather anticlimactically with a chase, and then you get a fairly boring epilogue as Connor, then the pivot point nonsense I haven't bothered to do, I consider the game completed when though it's still so much to do and discover. So I definitely thought this was an enjoyable game, it's just that the glitches and some lackluster missions drag the game down a bit, the game also froze on me three times, the first Wii U game that did freeze on me, twice before the Ubisoft logo when the game started up and once before attempting to initiate a mission. The three different characters lend the game some variety I should also mention. Check it out.
