Can't decide if it's sad you don't know that, or encouraging that this game is prompting you to find out...

Why is it bad that he doesn't know that? It's not super common information. Is American history the most important history ever now?
EDIT: In hindsight, TC could have used google. Still, your post is pretty pretentious.

I hope we get to meet Thomas Paine, say "There's something in your face", punch him in the face, and yell "It was pain!"

I assumed TC was American. If so, my comment stands. If not, I recant it. Assuming each of you is American, congratulations, the education system that produced you and your peers is the reason the United States falls so short of it's Asian & European counterparts in basic education, and is at least a factor, if not a major reason the country & society therein is in the shape it is today...

There was another rider that actually went farther than Revere, but I can't remember his name. There might have been more than two. It's possible that the Midnight Ride could be an actual mission. Maybe something like the Carriage set piece with Leonardo in ACII Instead of just a horse race.

I'd like to see Paul Revere in this game. Actually, as much as I admire and worship George Washington, I would like to see some of the less commonly known figures in the American Revolution.
Nathanial Greene, Thomas Gage, Henry Knox, ect.
Also, although he doesn't fit the description that I just gave, there has to be Thomas Paine. Preferably a scene where he gives a speech about tyranny and independence. That would make my day.

Well, sort of. I see him as probably the most honorable and decent mortal man who ever lived, and as such I look up to him in a sort of legendary manner. Not without his flaws, of course, but I still think that he is the ideal that all men should aspire for. He'd probably disagree with that.
I don't sacrifice goats to him, if that is what you're thinking.
