Seem stuck in "Leave Boston" mission

In sequence 5 I am to go to the Harbormaster and take a boat to Davenport to leave Boston. I hit E to Interact with him and a map comes up with various sea lanes emanating from a House-like symbol(Davenport?) to various compass points. But there is no way to access anything on the map. Doesn't seem to be any way to take a boat. Any help?

- Dec 5, 2012 3:33 pm GMTEnded up travelling by land. Took forever. Now I'm sent to Trading to stockpile wood but after I buy ii I can't get out of the Trading screen. ESC button does not work to back out to main game. Stuck in that screen. Do I have a corrupted save game file?
