GameSpot UK travels to Ubisoft Montreal to meet the developers of Assassin's Creed 2.
Actually i think that maybe AC 3 or 4 should be in the present where Desmin becomes an assassin himself.
i cant wait till tomorrowXD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ubisoft is making a game for the natal, natal assassins creed?
less than a month
i pre-ordered it.....3 months ago. i was excited THEN. now only a month to go till it comes out! i cant wait. the hidden gun and double hidden blades look beast. swimming should be useful. i was actually worried to see if the Leap of Faith was gonna still be in it, it was one of my favorite things to do in AC1. should be cool doing it into water. I'm Italian and my ancestors were actually nobles in Venice during this time ^_^. should be cool exploring the historical monuments. i cant wait for this game.
come out all ready!!!!
Assassin's Creed II - Platform: PlayStation 3 - Release Date: Nov 17, 2009 - Release Region: North America - Brazil: Probably one month later... Dec 17, 2009 =[
AC 3 should be in the Roman Empire during it's fall, whit everyone trying to gain the power over the crumbling Empire there's a lot to build on
Well, those gadgets will be a big part of the fun of this game! Can't wait to take a look at them!
totaly radical dude lol
omg madest game
I'll buy it for sure!!
cant wait for it
He came from a monkey?
I think every game is best on PS3!
The first game was a disaster in my opinion. I tried to finish the game but eventually just got frustrated beyond belief and deleted it and my save. Incredible graphics engine, decent sound (mediocre music) were all fine. What wasn't was the boring repetitive missions. The story was very good except the fact that it progressed at a snails pace. And from what I saw (when I youtube'd the ending) was the ending was DEPLORABLE. A completely unacceptable game ending for all that BS repetitive nonsense you had to go through to get there. I would give the first game a 6/10. I would hope this will be much much better, and it sounds it, but I doubt i'll buy it anyway until its $30 somewhere.
@ izonekid Man, I can't believe you trouble yourself with collecting flags in an awesome game such as this?! I enjoyed the first one, and I will definitely enjoy playing the sequel!
Looks good, great idea to expand on mission types. Got kinda of repetative just searching for clues by assaulting, pickpocketing and killing of course. Fun but a 1 time play thru. Hopefully which I'm sure it will be great and will be a top contender with U2,CODMW2,BC2 god there are so many sequels I'm gonna need a second job come this fall.
French Revolution would be wicked sweet. I don't think any modern day ones would be good though; then it would turn into a third person shooter, pretty much.
cold war idea sounds really cool for ac3 doubt it will happen though. or some kind of sicarii (anti-Roman assassins) this game looks really cool though
This game looks so tight! I am totally going to pre order it!
notserbamma 'so the vibe I get from this guy is, the first AC sold so well that we didn't need to address any actual GAMEPLAY ISSUES in the game. Where are the PUZZLES? Games like this should have puzzles like God of War and Prince of Persia.' i think your thinking needs reworking... what you stated was not a gameplay issue, but a game design issue... like asking why a fps didnt have a 3rd person view... duh its an fps, or why a game ends in a cliffhanger a la PoP, Soul Reaver. a gameplay issue would be not grabbing ledges or bad camera when following and stalking prey which the first game did not have. since the first game did not have puzzles it could not be done the wrong way since it wasnt there you couldnt have played it in the game. if its not in GAME it cant be PLAYed.
this probably wont happen but i think it'd be cool for AC3 to be set in some kind of fictional Cold War style time, where you have to kill people on both sides to prevent a war. i wouldn't set it in the american-russian cold war because there's too many weapons and guns, but make one up. AC2 Game Of The Year!!!!!!!
I played the AC 1 and after more then a year,i still cant complete the game 100%.Cant find all the flags!!Its a bit dissapointing.Did anyone finished it COMPLETELLY??
it looks cool but i don't like how he looks when he is running
so the vibe I get from this guy is, the first AC sold so well that we didn't need to address any actual GAMEPLAY ISSUES in the game. Where are the PUZZLES? Games like this should have puzzles like God of War and Prince of Persia. The overall progression of gameplay should also be seamless like the two games above. The Creed series is a GREAT idea that isn't being carried out to its full potential and that really upsets me. The first game should have been one of the greatest games of all time but it wasn't. It was just "Great," which isn't enough with the competition out there in this genre. But hey, the first one sold well so this one will too, right?

can't wait!
AC 1 was the real game of the year 2007, the sequel will be the same.
I loved AC 1...but to be honest...it was a bit boring. I really hope this is more fun to play than AC 1 ...I am not bashing AC 1, I absolutely adored that game. But I really do hope this one is more enjoyable. =] And if they do make a AC 3, it should take place in Greece ^.^
I hope they make it fun to play after I beat it or make it real long
I'd like to see one during the Dark Ages...I think these creators could really develop a spectacular story line for that time era.
simply ... Kick Ass!!!!
awesome
Anyone knows name of the tune which is played in the background?
AWESOME asassiantion all to a new level
well em not impressed seriously.....well the 1st one was gr8 but datz just didnt impress m but i ll play da game
The saying "The Original is always the best." just got flushed down the crapper.
Da vinci is gonna die in the game :O "...roughly"
the first game was awesome, and this one will be crazy fun
yeah i think if you want an AC in modern times just play MGS? i think thats how it would turn out...
looks ace
Looks awesome, looks like you'll have way more weapons at your arsenal and you can also get more help from your allies this time, unlike AC1 where they just stood around and only helped if you were being chased. Another thing he said was that guards will remember you which is great and seems way more realistic.
AC 2 will B 1 hell of a Party...........
i think assassin's creed 3 should take place in the french revolution. but a modern assassin's creed (with guns and everything) would be sick but kind of defeat the purpose of the game
This time around will be greater than the first......More missions, more fun..I can not ask for more.
Hopefully multiplayer support in the third assassins creed if they make one, would be cool to do co-op assassinations :) Can't wait to get my hands on this one
also, i say it should happen during revolutionary times, since thats pretty much the next leg up in technology, or sometime later, because as you can see, there is gunpowder in this game, so new technology would have to be some time later than that time. or perhaps times during the industrial revolution. regardless, i know it'll be great game no matter the time. although, im not looking forward to a game in the modern era, way too many guns for this type of gameplay.
i saw live gameplay of this on g4, it is better than the first in every way, like 200 different missions at one time. flying machine. double blades. awesomeness
cant waitttttttttttt
