Assassin's Creed II User Review
Have you ever wanted to visit Italy? Well you just got your ticket, and a lot more than you bargained for!

- Easy

- 10 to 20 Hours
- The Bottom Line:
- "Amazing"
As with the last AC, it took quite a long time to buy it because I had more pressing issues on mind, but now that I've bought it and finished it, I can tell you it was worth every penny.
This is easily on of the best games out there, innovative, intelligent, immersing, IMPRESSIVE (I think I'll call that the 4-I rule).
Sure, perhaps your first impression when you get it and before you run it is, "More of the same, now in Italy though", WRONG! perhaps it may have a resemblance with the first AC, but this is so much better, many things have been tidied up, there are also a lot of surprises which you didn't expect, and help to add more to this amazing entertainment experience.
Voice acting and graphics are superb, just like the last one, however the soundtrack has been heavily improved in this one, not only that the story is pure gold, if it weren't for some repetitive gameplay issues (which will not diminish at all your gaming experience) this couldn't be better.
Many people will think this game is for kids, sure it can be played by a 12 year old, but allow me to say, I actually found that this game, unlike others, has a bit of history behind it, as did the previous one, however, if you like conspiracy theories, alternate visions of history, not only will you enjoy visiting some of the most beautiful italian cities, you will also gain some knowledge, that while it is fiction, it will immerse you more in this world.
AC2 also features a cast of characters that's memorable, most likely you'll come to love each and every one of them, since they're based on actual people (again with a twist to fulfill gaming purposes).
I can not risk saying more, because probably some people still don't have it, and if they by chance honored me reading this review, I wouldn't want to be spilling spoilers, no, this experience should be left to each one.
AC2 is a MUST HAVE, for every gamer out there, it's been wonderfully developed, it may teach you something or two about art and actual history (if you are parent and are worried about your child becoming a troglodyte buy him/her this game, trust me he'll learnwho Boticelli, Da Vinci, and other were).
