The game is a few centurys later in the 1400's. The game starts off as in the present time. The doctors assasstant and Desmond escape the templar laboratory. If you played the first Assassins Creed then you will know that the controls are the exact same from the first one. The two escape the laboratory and goes into a different hideout and you meet two new faces. Each person has a special job to find more out about the templar. So the game is just like the first Assassins Creed you go back in time to where your ancestors were around. Also instead of going into juersalem you are in Italy.
This game has three big cities, a villa that is your families, and also a swamp like place. There are more missions and the memory sequences are much longer because you actually play missions to get to the boss of the memory sequence. The guards are also have changed from the first one. Like they got better armor and also better weapons that they use. The game is all about getting revenge on the templars who killed your family. There are a lot of bosses just like the first one and it is a bit more challenging to get too them. Also just like the first one you go back to the present from time to time but so much less then it was in the first Assassins Creed game. But when you do then you are kinda glad that you are back in the present.
The game has a lot of new things like. You can race thieves and beat thier best times and you get money when you do. The view points are still around so it is fun climbing up the buildings and finding all of the view points to make the whole map visible. You can get new suits in different colors. And also you can buy armor and the better and more armor you get the more your health will go up. Also you can buy and repair your weapons anytime that you want. Blending, pickpocket, and getting money after killing guards is still in it just like the first one. They did take out a few things like the side quest of you saving civilans from guards and other things. The last major sidequest that you can do in this game is the Assassins Tombs there are only a few of them and they hid a major tomb that can help you unlock one of the many mysterous in the game. The game has a lot of mysterous like if you find all of the gylphs they unlock how you get a tiny circle called the Eden. Also this only mystery in the game is at the villa and you have to find Roman Mythology statues of the Roman gods. So there are a lot of side quests and also a lot of mysterous that you can solve.
The good of the game is that there is plenty to do. There are a lot of armor and also weapons to buy. There are a lot of side quests and mysterous to solve. It is fun killing the guards. It is really fun to travel from rooftop to rooftop.
The bad of the game is the controls should be a bit better with jumping and running.
Overall: This game is a really amazing game and a huge improvment from the first ever Assassins Creed game. This game will put you at the edge of your seat. You will be amazed at every part in the game. The game is amazing. THIS IS MY GAME OF THE YEAR!!
