Good: great looking and detailed environments, large world to explore, great voice acting and character personalities, tomb puzzles are actually fun, yet still challenging and rewarding, tons of things to do around numerous cites, large variety of weapons, missions, stealth techniques, and combat moves, different outfits and upgradeable gear, fun game play, amazing storyline/plot with great looking and intriguing cut scenes, lengthy campaign with numerous types of missions, great sounding effects and perfectly fitting music, ability to swim, ride horses and gondolas, etc.
Bad: a small learning curve if you haven't played the original AC
Overall: I have never played the original Assassin's Creed, (but I had read up on the plot). When first playing AC2, I did not enjoy it that much. I didn't like really the controls or character movement. But after a few minutes or so, I started getting into the game and from then on I fell in love with it. It's one of those games where you say "only one more level, then I'll stop for now", but end up playing ten more missions. It's immersive, fun, and an overall excellent game.
