The game combines a gripping story along with spectacular visuals. From the beginning of the game to the final fight scene, Assassin's Creed 2 is a thrill ride of adventure. The plot is a combination of The Count of Monte Cristo, added to tie in with the original Assassin's Creed plotline. There are three problems I have with the games content however, one of which is shared by many gamers. I do believe that to some degree the game is too short, and would have liked the game to be that tiny bit longer, however after the DLC was released the game gives a little bit extra fun for the player. The final complaint I have is the flashback of Altair. I do believe that the graphics were a little bit lacking in this scene. It appears as if they have copied and pasted the file from the original game and just stuck it in this game. A common problem that has arisen from players however is that the game-play is "too easy", this is true but you can add style to your fighting to make it that little bit interesting, particularly by learning moves at your home city. Other than this I found Assassin's Creed 2 to be quite enjoyable and a game that seems to have satisfied some hidden part of my gaming life. Hopefully the third instalment in the series will be just as good, if not better.
