Ubisoft can't do it.

First of all let me start on the controls? Who the heck had the idea to make the Jump button a sprint accelerator, a "Jump higher" button, as well as a "Jump Back" button when hanging on walls?

Because of this, the Jump button is never intuitive and u find yourself, jumping backwards instead of what u wanted to do.

Most part of the game you will find Enzio doing moves you never asked him to do.

Battles: They are so easy, that most of the time, they put a counter, or some ally who can die easier than you, to make some missions a little more difficult.

Reviewers may have fall for that, but not nomailx. Instead of programming a proper and exciting battle mechanism, you concentrate on just the animations, and at the end you find out that the battles look good, but are totally boring and so what you do? You put a timer or some allies to make the players sweat!? No way!

And, like the battles aren't easy enough, you can heal yourself almost for free, and endlessly, *15 healing potions, each used instantly, and fully filling your health???

What were they thinking???

Waste of space! Yes, in AC2, you have a lot of space, but didn't you realize that you always do the same think? Jumping around and killing someone. Ok that's the base of the game, but isn't that a waste of space? Come on! There are so many things that can be done! Like changing to servant costumes to inflitrate ennemy mansions, to poison their drink? (Check Hitman, a game in which there were many ways to kill one target!). Putting a place on fire? Drowning your target? Kidnapping? Stealing keys of one place to go rob that place or kill the target who ever it is?

I mean come on! So much space, so much animation, so much population, in the game, but what you do? just killing guards and targets with a few different weapons, and jumping around! That's a shame!

The good: excellent graphics. realistic and numerous animations. Crowd and population in the street is very alive, realistic, natural, and diverse as well as their reactions are always logical.

Battle moves look nice.

Cities look great, a lot of work have been put in them and their monuments. Each city looks different, and as well for their districts and streets, so you never feel like being at the same place all the time.

Nice Intuitive menu, missions are nice and diverse. Side quests puzzle are interesting. (ex: the truth)

Lots of historical research and accuracy.

Night and day time give a new dimension, light works are great.
(Sound could be better though)

Music is fine, and give you a nice ambiance.
(still but they could put a few more tracks, it gets boring with time).

Costume designs are excellent.

In short:

Ubisoft can be proud of it's hard work, but should be punished for it's lack of creativity.
