Language seems like a silly tool to describe this MASTERPIECE.

Thief: Deadly Shadows has just been toppled from my personal #1 game position. And that's something no game was ever able to accomplish.

The first Assassin's Creed came close, were it not for the repetitive mission structure. Still, that game was a blast in it's own right, with it's visuals, superb storytelling and excellent fighting mechanism. I have never felt so in control of the aggressiveness of a warrior.

Still, for all the beauty the cities and gameplay AC had, it lacked substance. One could only hope for this to be the foundation of something greater.

Enter the sequel. My head is spinning with the amount of fun there is to be had playing around in the world of AC2. I have only just seen parts of Florence and San Gimignano, and let's just TRY to sum up some goodies:
- collecting paintings for your villa (yes, your won villa, and in fact your won whole town to manage and dress up. A town that will earn you loads of money)
- swimming
- assassination by hanging from a ledge
- annoying minstrels to beat up (haha)
- pickpockets that grab your money, so will have to chase them (kill them or tackle them)
- notoriety system, which is fun
- money to spend on: clothing, armor, weapons, bribing, hiring courtesans, thieves and mercenaries
- simply gorgeous landmarks to climb onto and INTO
- flying!! (but i haven't even yet gotten to that)
- magnificent story
- a database with letters, codex, people, locations, to drool over back story. (and what a story so far...)
- glyps to decipher

etc etc

This game is a dream come true. Indeed, everything is permitted!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Ubisoft, for finally, again something creative, mind blowing, colorful, and deep.

This one's a Keeper.
