Feels good but more of a cash in than a sequel.

User Rating: 8.5 | Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (PS3 Slim Bundle) PS3
Assassins Creed Brotherhood is a follow up rather than a sequel it continues the story of Assassin Ezio Auditore.

Story

Assassins Creed Brotherhood continues immediately after Assassins Creed 2 where Ezio had decided to let Borgia go. He gets some time to rest but soon it gets serious and the villains are back and this time they kill Uncle Mario part of Ezio family. It's up to Ezio to lead a group of Assassins in the game to bring the villains to it's knees.

Gameplay

Well if you have played Assassins Creed 2 you know the basic deal here. Running, climbing, fighting, stealth and puzzles. Though nothing really much was added in this game that you didn't see was in number 2. The beginning sees you have most of the items you have and it takes a while to get going. After you get knocked out it takes like a Metroid effect where you lose all your equipment you acquired from the previous game and you have to get it back by purchasing it through Floris. You will also get new equipment along the way as well but not many things have changed.

You can still blend in with crowds, walk and hire courtsans and get Assassins on your side. It trys to be different with the mission structure where you can complete the mission like 100%. I mean to do some of these you either have to take no damage, not be spotted or get there in a time limit. There is a multiplayer but it's not worth bothering and you also play certain parts in the game as Desmond Miles but it is boring.

Presentation

Yet again the game can't be faulted in terms of looks it captures the country of Italy very well and all the famous things in Italy as well as well as rulers as well.

Lastability

About 15 to 20 hours of the campaign but after you beat it you might check out multiplayer but there is no point since this game came out a couple of years ago and Revelations has a superior multiplayer but not by much.

Overall Opinion

A solid game but not the game many were expecting it seems a bit like fan service because of how good Assassin Creed 2 was. It's not a bad game but it doesn't hold a candle to Assassins Creed 2 but still worth a try.
