I am now confident in how Ubisoft handles the Assassin's Creed series. Assassin's Creed : Brotherhood never ceases to amaze.

The story takes place right after the events of Assassin's Creed 2. It seems that not killing Borgia has consequences for Ezio and the Assassin's. I'll stop right there to avoid any spoilers.

The game-play is more or less like Assassin's Creed 2 but there are quite a number of new features introduced to Brotherhood. For one, you can now renovate and invest in shops. When investing, you have two factors to look at : Risk and population factor. Depending on the factors, the business may be very successful and you would earn quite a lot from the profit.

Even though the game is focused in the city of Rome, the city itself is so grand that you need a horse to travel from point A to B. Luckily there's a fast travel system where you use a series of tunnels but you must first unlock most of the tunnels in order to use them.

Recruiting Assassins is also a new feature. You can aid citizens being attacked by guards and in return, they will join the Brotherhood. You can call these assassins to aid you in battle.

The multi-player is one of the reasons that I got this game. Although it uses match-making and has no text chat, the multi-player is nevertheless great fun.

There are new maps exclusive to the multi-player as well as maps from Assassin's Creed 2. The change of scenery in the new maps is just visually stunning, you'd be gazing at the environment will getting killed.

Definitely a game to play.
