The gist of things

We all knew this game was coming and we knew that it wasn't AC3, so let's break it down into what it is. AC B is the sequel to ACII, mainly because when ACII was released, they didn't exactly quite finish it or introduce all the content that they wanted to. AC B was released to provide the content that wasn't introduced in II.

So, when i read review about just AC B, i do not quite understand why people are expecting a game that as the developers said, wouldn't take the Desmond story much farther and that it would answer the questions left at the end of ACII.

The Good:
- Great graphics
- Great sound
- Combat is amazing and even better once you get to call in some friends for help
- New tools (which as gamespot reviewers call derived but who really cares except them)
Best new weapon is the crossbow hands down!
- Money and trade system
- A lof things to keep you coming back.

The Bad:
- AHHH, i lost all my stuff :P
- Horse in the city, seems like a good idea but meh don't rlly care for horses to begin with.
- Some minor lag or frame hiccups where the character stops for 1 second.
- Just Rome? Would have been nice to go to Florence or something, a city which was already introduced in ACII, not like they would hve had to do any new design or anything.
- I still hate the wheel, it takes forever to select some weapon that i need isn't in the top, left, bottom or right sides.

In Between:
- The story, basically it's MEH! Since as i said above, the game's only purpose is to introduce the missing concepts from AC II and explain the ending (both of which it does quite well), it kind of fails in the general flow of the story quest. Thing kind of just randomly happen and the general missions didn't have the epic feeling to them (being the leader of the assassin order and all). I would have like to see a lot more development on the Cesare front, in terms of his character or some more evil master bad guy moments. I was kind of expecting a moment like in Pop 2 thrones where the people gathered to protect the prince, Rome in flames and the people going to protect the assassino (pretty sure they could hve sound some historical event to make it work).

Story: 7 - Really would have like more flow, doesn't have to be linear but some purpose or direction would have been nice.
Gameplay: 9
Replay Value: 10

Although, in all fairness, if you really want to rate AC B, you should rate ACII and AC B as one and not two separate things :)
