Where can I find Papaver Silvaticum? (For the Art Shop Quest)?

Papaver Silvaticum is a rare item that can be obtained from Borgia messengers and treasure chests across Roma as well as the thieves that ambush you at random across Roma. There is an incredibly good chance one of the treasure chests across Roma has what you seek, simply go on a treasure hunt. If the treasure chests do not drop it, that means that the treasure chests holding the item are in the Vaticano district that can only be accessed in Sequence 8 onward.
Don't want to wait that long? Then replay the very first thief mission over and over (the one with the fist fight). Simply knock out a thief, pick him up and place him away from the action to loot him. You won't be able to loot him if there is an enemy too close to Ezio.
The only items rarer than Papaver Silvaticum are the Aconite (good LUCK finding this) and the Shrunken Heads (only 2 in the game, sold one? Yes? Then your busted!) -
I found the Aconite before I found Silvaticum :/
Anyway the easiest way to get the Papaver Silvaticum is to farm Courtiers. This sounds more difficult than it is. All you need to do is take a tunnel to the Thieves Guild, climb up onto the roof next to the bank and look around for the Courtier. He has a silver Chevron above his head. He will either spawn from the road to the north or around the town center. He follows a pretty stupid path and is rather predictable.
After catching him, if he doesn't have it, take the Tunnel somewhere else then back to the Thieves Guild. Rinse and repeat until you have it. It took me about 30 times but you could have more luck than I.
On a side note I killed and looted close to 100 thieves trying to get silk and Cardinal's Purple Dye and didn't find a single one of these. I don't think that's a good option but if you're going to farm thieves the second mission where you have to fight the 8 thieves is a better one. -
The borgia messenger is your best bet, its a low chance of getting it, but its the only chance you have, good look finding it =)
